Feel the Luck of The Irish at CooperSmith’s

Lucky for us, we get to celebrate St. Patrick’s day more than once!

Get in the holiday spirit starting Saturday, March 12 with three great events:

If you’re not much of a runner or participating in the parade, enjoy all the action from the comfort of our patios & enjoy a good, old fashioned Irish beer. Both Irish beers will be tapped on March 7th!

Medb Irish Red Ale

Medb or “Maeve” is a traditional Irish name of the late medieval period, meaning “she who intoxicates”. This red ale is malt accented with a touch of sweetness and a slight roastiness.
This red ale is malt-accented with buttery, oaky notes and fruity round finish.

$4.66 per glass | 5.4% ABV | 21 IBUs | First Brewed in 1994

Irish Stout

A tangy roast malt aroma and flavor dominate this black ale.  Flaked barley (unmalted barley) contributes a fullness to the  body and an incredibly dense foam. Roast and Black malt along with a higher fermentation temperature give a coffee like roastiness. A generous amount of  Golding hops provide the finishing floral note.

$4.66 per glass | 4.5% ABV | 32 IBUs | First Brewed in 1996

Pubside will open early at 10:30am & Poolside will open at 11am on Saturday, March 12.

Don’t forget, Great Plates of Downtown runs from March 1 – March 14! Enjoy our 2 for $25 special & help raise funds for the Food Bank of Larimer County.

 New Beers Tapped March 7th:
  • Local Mocha Stout
This is another one of our “Coopster’s Creations”. Pub Side Kitchen Manager Dave Neas came up with this Mocha Stout with ingredients from locally sourced Colorado businesses. The hops are from High Wire Hops (Paonia,CO), the  coffee is from Bean Trees (Fort Collins,CO) and the pure liquid cocao from Cholaca (Boulder,CO).
  • Shaggy Dog Vanilla Porter
A Coopster’ Creation. Pool Side Supervisor Hannah Antonczyk came up with one for her mom. This robust porter is flavored with whole vanilla beans that compliments the roasted malt character.
  • Scott’s Gone Fishing Wheat
An American wheat that is as chillaxed and easy going as the Big Kahuna himself!
  • Marzen Lager
Pilsen, Munich and Honey malt combine to give this amber beer it’s sweet character.  Fermenting with lager yeast, a long aging period and German noble hops (Tettnang and Hallertauer) make it very smooth.
