Can I Bring My Dog to CooperSmith’s? A Guide to Our Dog Policy

Here at CooperSmith’s, we love dogs as much as we love craft beer. A lot of you ask, “Can I bring my dog to CooperSmith’s?” and we totally get it—spending time with your furry friends is a big part of the Fort Collins experience. We want to share the details on how you and your pup can still have a great time with us while following the rules we need to abide by.

County Regulations and Our Dog Policy

According to the Larimer County Health Department, dogs and other live animals aren’t allowed on the premises of food establishments. This rule includes both the interior and patio areas of restaurants like CooperSmith’s, where we serve all our tasty treats. The only exception to this rule is for service animals, which are legally allowed in all public spaces, including areas where food is served.

What Does This Mean for Our Patio?

While we can’t welcome dogs directly onto our patio, we do allow them to chill just outside the patio gate. This means your dog can be right next to your table, separated only by the patio railing. We want to make sure your pet can be close by while you enjoy our scratch-made food and drinks without breaking any rules.

Our Commitment to Quality and Safety

As much as we love dogs, we have to stick to local regulations to keep our doors open and our food safe. These rules help us maintain the high standards you expect from CooperSmith’s. By following these guidelines, we can continue to serve you the best in craft beer and scratch-made food in a safe and clean environment.

Join Us at CooperSmith’s

While your dog might not be able to join you directly on our patio, they can still be part of the experience. We invite you to bring your furry friend and enjoy a meal together, with them comfortably situated just outside the patio gate. We provide water bowls to keep them hydrated, and our friendly staff is always here to make sure you have everything you need.
