We use generous amounts of roasted malts to create the rich flavor, while the use of oats in the mash gives a creamy mouth-feel and full body. Lactose is added to increase sweetness and body. The rum barrel-aged cask version brings out vanilla, oak and spicy aromas as well as more roasted malt and chocolate notes in the beer.  Served on a beer engine. `
